Marstek Venus E 3.0: what to check first

The official European information describes 5.12 kWh nominal storage and 2.5 kW charge and discharge power. These are device specifications, not a promised saving.

AC-coupled storage

An AC-coupled battery can work alongside an existing solar inverter, but the circuit, protection, metering and permitted settings still need review.

CT002 or CT003

Reliable household data is required for control. CT002 measures with current clamps; CT003 uses a supported digital-meter port.

One or more units

Multiple units require a review of manufacturer limits, circuits, simultaneous power, metering and placement.

Use measured demand and export data

Compare imports and exports for the same period and, where available, quarter-hour data from ordinary weeks. Capacity alone does not predict useful cycling, savings or backup duration. Record the assumptions used for any proposal.

Prepare a verifiable quotation

Provide the exact inverter model, grid connection, photographs of the digital meter and closed distribution board, the proposed location and your objective. Wattra then confirms the equipment and scope; current manufacturer documentation remains decisive.

Check the complete project price

Compare the device, meter, mounting, electrical work, commissioning, any inspection or registration and aftercare on the same date. State exclusions explicitly. A device price and an installed quotation are not equivalent, and neither is a guaranteed saving.
