Three-phase connection · Solis system
Single-phase Solis inverter with P1 metering.
For this three-phase connection, we propose a suitable single-phase Solis battery inverter up to 5 kVA. The Xemex P1MB converts the digital meter P1 data to Modbus for the Solis controller.
- A suitable single-phase Solis battery inverter up to 5 kVA.
- A Xemex P1MB that makes the digital meter P1 data available to the controller via Modbus.
- A suitable SolisStorage IntelliHome or FlexHome-L LV battery based on your consumption and grid export.
The price includes the Xemex P1MB setup. Wattra verifies the connection and P1 availability before preparing the quote.

Standard installation: what is included?
What does standard installation include?
Delivery and installation on the ground floor, technician travel, a Xemex P1MB, an 8-module distribution box, mounting materials and the required connection materials.
The required power and signal cables for a cable route of up to 5 metres from the main distribution board connected first to the digital meter.
Adding or replacing the inverter circuit breaker and, if necessary, a current-limiting circuit breaker. The final protection is selected for your installation.
Connecting and commissioning the home battery. Inspection of the battery installation is included and carried out by an independent inspector, arranged by Wattra.
When replacing an inverter with a hybrid inverter: removal and recycling of the old inverter, where applicable. With retrofit, the existing solar inverter remains in place.
What is not included as standard?
An 8-module distribution box is included in the standard Solis price. If it is insufficient, a box up to 18 modules costs €225 excl. VAT (€238.50 incl. 6% or €272.25 incl. 21% VAT), and a box up to 36 modules costs €275 excl. VAT (€291.50 incl. 6% or €332.75 incl. 21% VAT). The difference is itemised separately in the quote. Larger boxes require a tailored quote. The VAT rate depends on your circumstances.
A green energy certificate meter is not included as standard. Do you still receive green energy certificates and replace your current solar inverter with a hybrid inverter? Select this: the calculator includes the appropriate meter in the total, including VAT and applicable financing rounding. A single-phase inverter uses a single-phase meter; a three-phase inverter uses a three-phase meter. Wattra checks the requirements of your certificate scheme.
A cable route longer than 5 metres is charged additionally. For Solis, you can select a wireless communication kit when a signal cable is not possible. The kit replaces only the communication connection, not the power cable. We check compatibility and range.
Standard installation applies to a dry, safe and freely accessible ground-floor work area, with a usable existing electrical installation and a normal, surface-mounted cable route.
Not included are groundwork and excavation, chasing, foundations, demolition and reinstatement, repairs to paving or landscaping, specialist concrete or diamond drilling, lifting or work at height, and asbestos removal. Changes required because the existing installation is defective or non-compliant, a grid-connection upgrade or change by the network operator, and the provision of internet or Wi-Fi are also outside standard installation.
Mention these circumstances in your enquiry. Wattra checks what is required and lists the additional work and price separately in your quote.
How do I measure the distance and what does an extra metre cost?
Measure the full cable route from the main distribution board connected first to the digital meter to the battery inverter location. Follow the actual route, including bends and changes in height, rather than measuring a straight line.
The first 5 metres are included. Under “I want to add a detail”, enter only the metres beyond 5: for a total route of 8 metres, enter 3. The calculator updates the total with your additions, selected VAT rate and, for the 0% promotion, the applicable term and rounding. We therefore do not show a fixed final price per additional metre here. This calculation includes normal cable installation along an accessible route, but not excavation, chasing or specialist drilling. Your personalised quote confirms the cable route and any additional work.
Why does Wattra show its prices openly?
Because you deserve to know what to expect. Our configurator gives you a price estimate without having to request a quote first. You can see what standard installation includes and which options cost extra, helping you plan your budget and compare proposals fairly.
Every home is different. We therefore check your installation and confirm the final scope and price in a personalised quote. You can then make an informed choice, with clear arrangements before work starts.
You don’t need to know every detail.
