Have your oil boiler repaired

Oil-boiler or burner fault? Report the problem to Wattra to arrange diagnosis and repairs through regular contractors. Also for businesses and apartment buildings.

Briefly describe your question. You can add photos or documents; you do not need to know the technical solution yet.

Burner cutting out or heating not working

Tell us what you have noticed, when it started and whether you also have no hot water. Send the visible boiler and burner details and a photo of the error message. Wattra discusses your request with a suitable regular contractor. Do not open the appliance or try to suppress a recurring fault by repeatedly resetting it.

A focused diagnosis avoids guesswork

We agree diagnostic work and travel arrangements in advance. The findings determine which repairs are possible and which parts are needed. Tell us about previous work and share any reports so the same information does not have to be collected again. A solution or the availability of spare parts is confirmed only after assessment.

A repair is not the same as installing a new boiler

Ask for a clear description of the component being repaired. Minor repairs remain possible; replacing the boiler body falls under the replacement rules. A repair proposal and a proposal for a new boiler are therefore assessed separately. Discuss the findings and the appropriate next step first.

Coordinate with the right contractor

Work requiring statutory recognition is carried out by our regular recognised contractors. Wattra keeps the request, availability and further arrangements clear. For an association of co-owners or a business, we agree who provides access and who authorises repair costs. For equipment fitted by another installer, we also review the available history and existing warranties.

Report problems safely and promptly

In the event of smoke, a carbon monoxide alarm, fire or immediate danger, move to a safe place and call 112. Do not use a request form to report an emergency. For a non-emergency fault in Flanders, call Wattra to discuss availability or send the equipment details with your request. We do not promise a fixed arrival time.

Regular partner for heating, cooling and plumbing

For heating, cooling and plumbing work, Wattra works on an ongoing basis with Dominique De Block of Klimaatbeheer. This is a regular delivery partner we work with weekly, not a one-off referral.

For the agreed work, Wattra remains your main contact and payment point. Quotations, planning, changes and invoicing go through Wattra. Your quotation clearly states which work is carried out by Wattra and which by the delivery partner.

Official background

Based in Sint-Niklaas, we help customers throughout Flanders. Tell us your municipality and project stage. We agree scheduling, a visit to your property and any travel charges in advance.

What helps us prepare your maintenance or repair?
  • Municipality and installation address
  • Make and model, if known; a photo of an accessible identification plate
  • Maintenance request or symptoms, any error message and preferred timing

Share the information you already have. Do not open electrical components to take a photo, and do not share passwords. Missing documents? You can still start your enquiry without an attachment.

Good to know

Your questions. Clear answers.

Can a burner fault always be fixed on site?

That depends on the cause and the availability of parts. After diagnosis, we discuss the possible repair and any follow-up appointment.

Do you have every part in stock?

We cannot promise that. The make, model and diagnosis determine what is needed and which lead time must be confirmed.

Can you also arrange repairs to a shared heating system?

Yes. Tell us about the system and the homes or business premises it serves. We agree the appropriate contractor, access and scope of work in advance.

Will I receive an invoice after the work?

Yes. You will receive an invoice after the completed call-out.

Will I receive a work order after the work?

Yes. The work order records the work carried out and the technicians and times actually used.

Do I have to pay if the repair could not be completed immediately?

Yes. The call-out, diagnosis and time already spent remain payable, including where a part, quotation, additional technicians, extra time, approval or a third party is needed. Follow-up work and additional costs are discussed separately.

How do I pay for a call-out?

For a private call-out, we expect payment on site after the work: cash, by payment terminal when available, or with a payment QR code. For a landlord or a VME, we send the invoice by email to the agreed contact person.

Where can I find the call-out rates?

See our call-out rates for the call-out fee, actual travel time, additional time, cancellation and work outside normal hours. The price agreed for an already scheduled call-out remains applicable.

Do you charge commission on work by Klimaatbeheer?

No. We work with regular specialists to offer customers a broader and reliable range of services. The quotation states the agreed work and price; additional or changed work is discussed first.

Who is my contact during the project?

Wattra remains your main contact for the agreed work. We coordinate planning and delivery with Klimaatbeheer; the specific division of work is stated in your quotation.

Who do I pay for heating, cooling or plumbing work?

Invoicing and payment for the agreed work go through Wattra, not directly through the delivery partner. This gives you one contact for quotation, planning and follow-up.

Why do you work with a regular delivery partner?

Some technical work requires specialist expertise and permissions. By working on an ongoing basis with reliable specialists, we can help with a broader range of work without requiring you to find and coordinate several parties yourself.

Your equipment deserves focused follow-up.

Tell us about your equipment, municipality and what you need. We discuss the approach, timing and costs before you confirm the work.
