Junkers: servicing or replacement?

Arrange maintenance without the technical legwork

Send your address, gas boiler brand and model and, if available, the previous maintenance certificate. Wattra is your point of contact for the request and coordination. A regular contractor with the appropriate accreditation carries out work requiring that accreditation. You can also request service for equipment not installed through Wattra; support is confirmed in advance.

When is maintenance required?

In Flanders, central-heating gas boilers rated at 20 kW or above require maintenance every two years. Below that threshold, maintenance is recommended, but this obligation does not apply. Provide the maximum output and last maintenance date so your request can be assessed correctly. The maintenance interval alone does not tell you whether an existing fault can wait.

What do we agree in advance?

We explain the maintenance visit, travel and terms for additional work. Mention error codes, repeated shutdowns or a lack of hot water when you contact us. Repairs and spare parts are not automatically included in routine maintenance. We first discuss what your boiler and situation require.

Work and documentation through the appropriate technician

Wattra coordinates the work; the regular accredited contractor is responsible for work requiring accreditation and the associated certificates. You do not need to find several parties yourself. Keep the documents with the equipment records and share existing findings in advance, so the next visit builds on the installation history.

For homes, businesses and associations of co-owners in Flanders

Based in Sint-Niklaas, we discuss requests from Waasland and across Flanders. For a business or VME, state how many units are involved, who can provide access and who approves the work. Ask about availability and pricing for your address; a request is not a confirmed appointment.

Regular partner for heating, cooling and plumbing

For heating, cooling and plumbing work, Wattra works on an ongoing basis with Dominique De Block of Klimaatbeheer. This is a regular delivery partner we work with weekly, not a one-off referral.

For the agreed work, Wattra remains your main contact and payment point. Quotations, planning, changes and invoicing go through Wattra. Your quotation clearly states which work is carried out by Wattra and which by the delivery partner.

Official background

Based in Sint-Niklaas, we help customers throughout Flanders. Tell us your municipality and project stage. We agree scheduling, a visit to your property and any travel charges in advance.

What helps us prepare your maintenance or repair?
  • Municipality and installation address
  • Make and model, if known; a photo of an accessible identification plate
  • Maintenance request or symptoms, any error message and preferred timing

Share the information you already have. Do not open electrical components to take a photo, and do not share passwords. Missing documents? You can still start your enquiry without an attachment.

Good to know

Your questions. Clear answers.

Can you service equipment fitted by another installer?

Yes. Send the brand, model and any available service history. We confirm whether our regular contractors can support your equipment and under what arrangements.

Is a repair included in the maintenance?

Not automatically. Tell us about faults in advance. Any diagnosis, spare parts and repair work are discussed separately.

Who carries out maintenance requiring accreditation?

A regular contractor with the appropriate recognition. Wattra is your point of contact for the request, scheduling and coordination; Wattra does not present itself as a recognised boiler technician.

Will I receive an invoice after the work?

Yes. You will receive an invoice after the completed call-out.

Will I receive a work order after the work?

Yes. The work order records the work carried out and the technicians and times actually used.

Do I have to pay if the repair could not be completed immediately?

Yes. The call-out, diagnosis and time already spent remain payable, including where a part, quotation, additional technicians, extra time, approval or a third party is needed. Follow-up work and additional costs are discussed separately.

How do I pay for a call-out?

For a private call-out, we expect payment on site after the work: cash, by payment terminal when available, or with a payment QR code. For a landlord or a VME, we send the invoice by email to the agreed contact person.

Where can I find the call-out rates?

See our call-out rates for the call-out fee, actual travel time, additional time, cancellation and work outside normal hours. The price agreed for an already scheduled call-out remains applicable.

Do you charge commission on work by Klimaatbeheer?

No. We work with regular specialists to offer customers a broader and reliable range of services. The quotation states the agreed work and price; additional or changed work is discussed first.

Who is my contact during the project?

Wattra remains your main contact for the agreed work. We coordinate planning and delivery with Klimaatbeheer; the specific division of work is stated in your quotation.

Who do I pay for heating, cooling or plumbing work?

Invoicing and payment for the agreed work go through Wattra, not directly through the delivery partner. This gives you one contact for quotation, planning and follow-up.

Why do you work with a regular delivery partner?

Some technical work requires specialist expertise and permissions. By working on an ongoing basis with reliable specialists, we can help with a broader range of work without requiring you to find and coordinate several parties yourself.

Your equipment deserves focused follow-up.

Tell us about your equipment, municipality and what you need. We discuss the approach, timing and costs before you confirm the work.
