Air conditioning
Describe the problem, not the assumed solution
Is your home or business air conditioning cooling poorly, leaking water from an indoor unit or displaying an error? Briefly describe what you see, when it began and which units are affected. A photo of an accessible rating plate or the message helps. Wattra discusses the technical follow-up; an error code alone is not a diagnosis. This service does not cover vehicle air conditioning.
Diagnosis before parts or replacement
The cause and repairability are assessed before the final repair is agreed. Provide any maintenance reports, previous repair records and warranty details you have. We do not promise a price or repair time without the necessary information. Parts availability and support for the particular unit may affect the next step.
Repairs through the appropriate contractor
Wattra is your point of contact and is not itself a recognised refrigeration contractor. Refrigeration work requiring statutory recognition is carried out by our regular recognised contractors. We also discuss the scope of any electrical alterations. Your request does not confirm that we will take over maintenance or provide a brand-specific warranty; we clarify beforehand what work is possible.
Stay safe while awaiting assessment
Follow the user manual and do not open electrical or refrigeration components. If water leaks from the indoor unit or a protective device repeatedly trips, have the equipment assessed instead of continuing to restart it. If you notice a burning smell, smoke or immediate danger, keep away and call 112 in an emergency. Our request form is not an emergency channel and does not guarantee an immediate call-out.
A focused service request anywhere in Flanders
Send your address, phone number, brand and model, and a short description. Mention whether the air conditioning is essential for heating, a workplace or a shared area. You can also ask about systems fitted by another installer. Based in Sint-Niklaas, Wattra discusses options throughout Waasland and Flanders, confirming support and scheduling for each request.
Regular partner for heating, cooling and plumbing
For heating, cooling and plumbing work, Wattra works on an ongoing basis with Dominique De Block of Klimaatbeheer. This is a regular delivery partner we work with weekly, not a one-off referral.
For the agreed work, Wattra remains your main contact and payment point. Quotations, planning, changes and invoicing go through Wattra. Your quotation clearly states which work is carried out by Wattra and which by the delivery partner.
Official background
Consulted on 18 September 2026. How the guidance applies to your installation is assessed separately.
Based in Sint-Niklaas, we help customers throughout Flanders. Tell us your municipality and project stage. We agree scheduling, a visit to your property and any travel charges in advance.
What helps us prepare your maintenance or repair?
- Municipality and installation address
- Make and model, if known; a photo of an accessible identification plate
- Maintenance request or symptoms, any error message and preferred timing
Share the information you already have. Do not open electrical components to take a photo, and do not share passwords. Missing documents? You can still start your enquiry without an attachment.
Good to know
Your questions. Clear answers.
Can you resolve every error code remotely?
No. A fault code helps us prepare, but it must be assessed together with the equipment type and circumstances. An on-site assessment is sometimes needed. Do not open the equipment. Send us the visible message exactly as it appears.
Is topping up the refrigerant the solution if my air conditioner is not cooling?
That should not be assumed in advance. Reduced cooling can have several causes. Have the cause assessed first. Work on the refrigerant circuit belongs with an appropriately accredited contractor, not a DIY refill.
Can I also ask for a replacement comparison?
Yes. If repair proves uncertain or extensive, you can request a separate replacement proposal. This assesses not only the new units but also the existing connections, drainage and finishes.
Will I receive an invoice after the work?
Yes. You will receive an invoice after the completed call-out.
Will I receive a work order after the work?
Yes. The work order records the work carried out and the technicians and times actually used.
Do I have to pay if the repair could not be completed immediately?
Yes. The call-out, diagnosis and time already spent remain payable, including where a part, quotation, additional technicians, extra time, approval or a third party is needed. Follow-up work and additional costs are discussed separately.
How do I pay for a call-out?
For a private call-out, we expect payment on site after the work: cash, by payment terminal when available, or with a payment QR code. For a landlord or a VME, we send the invoice by email to the agreed contact person.
Where can I find the call-out rates?
See our call-out rates for the call-out fee, actual travel time, additional time, cancellation and work outside normal hours. The price agreed for an already scheduled call-out remains applicable.
Do you charge commission on work by Klimaatbeheer?
No. We work with regular specialists to offer customers a broader and reliable range of services. The quotation states the agreed work and price; additional or changed work is discussed first.
Who is my contact during the project?
Wattra remains your main contact for the agreed work. We coordinate planning and delivery with Klimaatbeheer; the specific division of work is stated in your quotation.
Who do I pay for heating, cooling or plumbing work?
Invoicing and payment for the agreed work go through Wattra, not directly through the delivery partner. This gives you one contact for quotation, planning and follow-up.
Why do you work with a regular delivery partner?
Some technical work requires specialist expertise and permissions. By working on an ongoing basis with reliable specialists, we can help with a broader range of work without requiring you to find and coordinate several parties yourself.
Your equipment deserves focused follow-up.
Tell us about your equipment, municipality and what you need. We discuss the approach, timing and costs before you confirm the work.
