Clear documentation for your electrical installation
Wattra prepares electrical diagrams and updates existing plans for homeowners, businesses and associations of co-owners across Flanders. This can accompany electrical work, replace missing installation records or document new and modified systems with home batteries, EV chargers or solar panels. You can also contact us if another installer carried out the original work. We first agree which installation and parts of the documentation the job covers.
Single-line diagrams and layout plans: different purposes
A single-line diagram shows the electrical layout and the relationship between circuits, protective devices and connected components. An installation layout plan shows where those components are located. Together, they help explain a domestic installation. For a business or a VME's shared installation, we determine which diagrams, plans and additional documents apply to that non-domestic installation. A standard house plan does not suit every job.
Start with the installation as it actually is
We compare the available plans, previous reports and information about changes with the installation itself. If reliable information is missing, we discuss a site survey and any identification or measurements needed from a professional. A photo of a closed electrical panel can help us prepare, but does not show the complete wiring route. You do not need to open a panel, trace wiring or take measurements yourself.
After adding a battery, EV charger or solar panels
New equipment can change how existing and new components work together. We therefore consider not only the individual equipment diagram, but also its connection to the existing installation. For new solar panels or changes to an existing system, we prepare or update the electrical diagrams, including for third-party installations. Wattra also installs new solar panels; installation and documentation are scoped together.
Costs and preparation for an inspection
The size of the installation, available documents, access and required survey determine the work. You receive a proposal specifying the agreed diagrams, any measurements and handover. Repairs and further investigations are not automatically included. Diagrams help prepare for an inspection but do not, on their own, prove compliance. Wattra can arrange the inspection; the recognised inspection body carries out the official inspection and determines the outcome.
Send us what you already have
Tell us your municipality, building type and why you need diagrams. Include any available plans, the complete previous inspection report and a description of later changes. For a business or association of co-owners (VME), we agree access, a contact person and any interruptions in advance.

What helps us prepare your quote?
Helpful, but not required to get started
Help us
review your documentation.
Have not found all the documents yet? You can still ask your question first.
- Your municipality, building type and the installation that needs diagrams
- Existing plans, diagrams and a previous inspection report, if available
- What has changed: electrical work, home battery, EV charger, solar panels or inverter
A clearly defined scope
From a site survey
to your new diagrams.
Your proposal identifies which parts of the installation will be surveyed, which diagrams you will receive and whether a site visit or measurements are needed.
Any remedial work and an official inspection are separate items. New diagrams are not an inspection report or approval of the installation.
What if your electrical diagrams are missing?Which documents does the inspector mean?
Eendraadschema means single-line electrical diagram. Situatieplan or situatieschema means the electrical layout plan. Send any existing plans and tell us what has changed. We can discuss new or updated documentation in English, including for installations fitted by another company.
Single-line diagrams versus layout plansGood to know
Your questions. Clear answers.
Do you prepare diagrams for systems fitted by other installers?
Yes. We assess the available information and agree which survey and documents are needed.
Can existing diagrams be updated?
Yes, if usable plans are available. We check which changes and existing parts need to be included in the scope.
Do new diagrams mean my installation has passed its inspection?
No. The official inspection and inspection report remain the responsibility of the recognised inspection body.
Your installation.
Clear on paper.
Tell us which installation needs diagrams and in which municipality. We discuss the available documents, any site survey and a clear price agreement.
