From renovation plans to electrical work
Renovating a kitchen, adding connection points or renewing the entire electrical installation starts with a clear picture of your plans and the existing system. Wattra assesses which parts can stay and what needs to change. We manage electrical renovations throughout Flanders, with agreed work for each room, sequencing and handover.
Agree connection points before finishing work starts
Fixed equipment, sockets, lighting and network points are positioned on the plans around everyday use. Your kitchen, workspace and utility room each need different preparation. Discuss a future charger, battery or smart controls too: suitable preparation can help, but not every future option needs installing immediately.
Phased upgrades where the situation allows
Will you remain in the property during renovation, or must part of your business keep operating? We discuss access, power interruptions and how the old and new parts connect. A safe intermediate stage is a requirement, not something to take for granted. Decisions about connection points and equipment are scheduled early so conduits and finishes can be coordinated.
A quote with a clearly defined scope
The extent of the upgrade, cable routes, access and condition of the installation determine the work. Your proposal distinguishes electrical installation, wall chases and penetrations, restoration of finishes and the agreed diagrams. It also specifies arrangements for any inspection. Tell us your municipality and provide a plan or brief description, available reports and intended phases; previously unknown defects and changes are discussed separately.

Can I update the electrics in just my kitchen or one room?
Yes, if the existing installation and the connection to the upgraded part allow it. We assess that relationship before defining the scope; one room is not electrically independent of the rest.
Can I stay in the house during the electrical renovation?
That depends on the scope and whether safe work stages can be arranged. We agree in advance which areas need to be accessible and which parts will temporarily be without power.
Are wall chasing and restoring the walls included?
Not automatically. The quote specifies which preparation and finishes Wattra will handle and what you or another contractor will provide. Any additional changes are discussed first.
