Ask for more than the app login
Identify the Miniserver, the functions you use and who manages changes. Request the available configuration and documentation through the authorised owner. Have an electrician identify unfamiliar wiring or modules. This prevents an extension from relying on assumptions about hidden functions.
Back up before making changes
Loxone describes backup management for Miniservers. The available procedure depends on the management environment in use. Agree which state will be saved, who retains the copy and how a change will be tested. An arbitrary older file may differ from what currently runs in the home.
Define the desired result room by room
