A recurring problem deserves its own notification
Maybe you've had the pressure repaired before, and there's another call now. Then it happened again as important information. Ask to examine the recurring pattern, instead of just passing on the last observed value. A temporary change and a determined cause are not the same.
Vaillant refers to an installer in the event of a continuous drop in pressure and stresses model-related pressure values. So don't take a number from an internet example as an institution for your kettle. You don't have to change the pressure yourself to make a useful report.

Use four simple columns
Write down date and time, visible value or notification, what the installation did at that time and a short comment. For example: Monday morning, pressure report on display, heating didn't work, photo available. This is also useful without a read number. Don't write missing data afterwards as if you're sure.
If you have previous photos, add the original time. Do not compare single images without context. The aim is not to prove a graph itself, but to show the performer which information is reliably available and which questions are still open.
Do not make the log a test program
Do not top up, do not bleed the system, and do not repeatedly reset it to collect extra readings. Do not run an installation in defiance of a warning. Do not open the casing or look behind equipment for a label. Use existing documents if the model cannot be seen safely from the outside.
A logbook is also no reason to delay a service request until you have several days of data. Report the complaint with what you know now. Ask the performer if further observations are useful and safe; a short, incomplete timeline is better than risky completeness.
Add previous interventions and consequences
Indicate when maintenance or repair took place earlier and whether radiators or other parts have been worked on. Write down who did it and what report is available. Make a distinction between what you saw and what a previous performer determined. This prevents a suspicion from being taken as a diagnosis in a subsequent conversation.
Also indicate whether heating, hot water or both fail and which areas are involved. Vaillant shows in error codes that multiple possible causes can be investigated. The exact code and device model help; the technical recovery steps from a code list are not an order to replace parts themselves.

Let the research boundary explicitly agree
Ask whether the research includes only the boiler or other parts of the heating system. In an apartment building the demarcation can be extra important. Who regulates access, receives the findings and consents to follow-up work? Decide on how a still unclear cause is followed instead of just asking for a component price.
Wattra discusses your service enquiry throughout Flanders. Send your address, equipment details and a brief overview. We coordinate work requiring statutory recognition with regular recognised contractors; Wattra itself does not hold that recognition. An enquiry does not yet confirm a diagnosis, repair price or availability at a particular time.
What you can prepare now
- Save value or notification with date and time.
- Write down what you really saw, not what you suspect.
- Add previous service reports.
- Do not delay help to create a complete log first.
Frequently asked questions
Does pressure loss prove that the expansion vessel is defective?
No. Have the cause examined. Pre-ordering a component based on only a printing notification can unnecessarily limit the research.
How much pressure do I need on my central heating boiler?
The correct value depends on the actual system. Please refer to the device documentation and have the appropriate setting confirmed; this article does not knowingly give a general supplement number.
